America for Americans, Mexico for Mexicans Memo From Mexico
How To Help Mexico—Close The Border!

By Allan Wall
August 11th, 2006

For years I have contended that today’s mass emigration from Mexico to the U.S. is harmful to Mexico. It encourages the Mexican government to export the people rather than solve the problems here in Mexico. It exacerbates family disintegration and social problems. It distorts local economies . (See my previous article Does Emigration Really Help Mexico?)

For Mexico, emigration is like an addictive drug that encourages Mexicans to escape to the U.S. rather than solve the problems here.

There are actually people here in Mexico who agree with me on this point.

Certainly, the politicians of all parties continue to bash Americans for wanting to control our border. That’s not surprising.

But some Mexicans have recently made the same argument I have been making. It’s not that they read my articles, it’s just that they looked through the rhetoric and followed the same logic.

“The Jews are responsible for all the wars in the world.” — Mel Gibson

Was He Drinking?

“Get hold of fifty of the wealthiest Jewish financiers, the men who are interested in making wars for their own profit. Control them, and you will put an end to it all.” — Henry Ford, father of the automobile industry, the Cleveland News, 20th September 1923.

Are These Jews Anti-Semitic?

“We are at the bottom, not merely of the latest Great War, but of nearly all your wars; not only of the Russian, but of every other major Revolution in, your history . . . We did it solely with the irresistible might of our spirit, with ideas and propaganda.” — A Real Case Against the Jews by the Jewish writer and Rothschild biographer, Marcus Eli Ravage, Century Magazine, January 1928, Volume 115, Number 3, pages 346-350.

By James Buchanan
August 10th, 2006

In a stunning upset victory, Ned Lamont has unseated three-term incumbent and “conscience of the Senate” Joe Lieberman. The only thing that most voters know about Ned Lamont is that he opposes the Iraq War, but that was enough for Connecticut voters to pull the lever for Lamont. This upset must be especially troubling for all the Republicans whose popularity has been eroded by one embarrassing failure after another by the Bush administration.

Lieberman has threatened to run as an independent in November. It’s unclear how someone, who can’t even win his own party’s primary, thinks he can win a general election. Most voters will see Lieberman as a sore loser, who has no chance of winning. The Democrats want to win in November and voting for Lieberman is a sure way to lose. Also, the November election may prove that there are swarms of anti-war Republicans in Connecticut. Their votes could easily make up for any die-hard fans of the nerdy and obsolete Joe Lieberman. Report: US sailor spied for Israel

By David Keyes
August 9th, 2006

A US Navy sailor, Ariel J. Weinmann, is suspected of spying for Israel and has been held in prison for four months, according to an article published Monday in the Saudi daily Al-Watan. It reported that Weinmann is being held at a military base in Virginia on suspicion of espionage and desertion.

According to the navy, Weinmann was apprehended on March 26 “after it was learned that he had been listed as a deserter by his command.” Though initial information released by the navy makes no mention of it, Al-Watan reported that he was returning from an undisclosed “foreign country.” American sources close to the Defense Department told Al-Watan that Israel was the country in question. By Patrick J. Buchanan
August 8th, 2006

“Things are as they are, and their consequences will be what they will be. Why then should we seek to be deceived?”

Columnist Stewart Alsop, dead now these 30 years, once closed a column with this quote from the philosopher Bishop Berkeley. His column, I believe, was about Vietnam.

As we approach the fifth anniversary of 9/11, we, too, can see the shape of things to come.

In the ideology of “democratic fundamentalism” to which George W. Bush converted after 9/11, we are simply in a rough patch on the glory road to a democratic Middle East and “the end of tyranny on this earth.”

In reality, our situation has never been more grim. (….Full Article)

“War for Oil” or War for Israel?

Amerca as occupied as Palestine (Photo credit: IHR.org)Several Reasons Why it isn’t about Oil

By Curt Maynard
August 8th, 2006

The war in Iraq, and America’s so-called Imperialistic ventures in the Mid East have nothing to do with oil.

How do you know that you might be asking?

Without delving into some very credible “conspiracy theories,” which tend to cause the eyes of “enlightened” Americans to glaze over in their own unique self-righteous stupor, let me relate some facts below, that should, assuming the reader has the ability to think properly as my friend in Rome Alfio Faro, likes to say, convince even the skeptic that Bush’s recent forays into the Middle East have nothing to do with the monopolization of oil reserves. I won’t leave the reader hanging, after relating these facts I’ll spell out in one word exactly why Bush is occupying Iraq and Afghanistan and why he intends to attack Iran and Syria as well.[1]

The Third World nation of South Africa produces a barrel of oil from coal for under $35.00 a barrel.[2] The United States of America has some of the largest coal reserves in the world.[3] These coal reserves are of a far higher quality than that used by South Africa, the sulfur content is much less, and thus, American coal can be converted to oil cheaper than can South African coal. (Photo credit: abc.net)America’s Drought Predicament

By Frosty Wooldridge
August 7th, 2006

On many of my transcontinental bicycle treks across six continents over the past 30 years, I noticed one repeating aspect of problems in Third World countries: leaders ignore problems until they become irreversible and unsolvable.

Once those problems manifest, citizens in those countries live with the consequences, i.e., they live in misery. What kind of misery? According to the March 14, 2005 issue of Time Magazine, eight million people starve to death annually around the globe. Over 35 percent of human beings on this planet do not enjoy clean drinking water, daily! Tuberculosis kills two million human beings annually. AIDS killed millions in Africa with millions more expected to die. In China, their government forces its citizens into one child per family. Why? Because, 50 years ago, they ignored their growing population until it exploded into 1.3 billion people. Such horrific numbers couldn’t be sustained. Today, even with one child families, they can’t solve their food, air and water dilemmas let alone present anything but a subsistence life for most of their citizens.

Do you think other countries’ leaders might step up to address such problems? Let’s look at the problems facing Mexico. In the last century, it grew from 50 million to 104 million. It’s expected to double to 200 million within this century. As witnessed in the past 20 years, it can’t feed, clothe or house its citizens—so 10 million Mexicans migrated illegally to the United States. As Mexico doubles again, we can expect no less than 10 to 30 or 40 million more Mexican migrants flooding into the USA. (…Full Article)

Former Knesset member Uri Avnery

Ehud Olmert Junkies of War

By Uri Avnery
August 6th, 2006

– FOR ME it was a moment of shocking revelation.

I was listening to one of the daily speeches of our Prime Minister. He said: “We are a wonderful people!” He said: We have already won this war, it is the greatest victory in the history of our state. He said: We have changed the face of the Middle East. And more to that effect.

Well, I told myself, that’s Olmert.

I have known him since he was 20-something. At that time, I was a member of the Knesset, and Olmert was the book-carrier (literally) of another member. Since then I have followed his career. He has never been anything but a party functionary, a small-time politician specializing in manipulations, a run-of-the-mill demagogue. On the way changed parties several times and served as a mayor with a grade of D minus, until he climbed on the bandwagon of Ariel Sharon. More or less by accident he was given the empty title of “Deputy Prime Minister”, and when Sharon suffered his stroke, something happened that took Olmert too by surprise: he became Prime Minister.

Throughout his career he has remained a complete cynic, basically a right-winger but willing to pretend to be a liberal when faced with leftists.

So, I told myself, this is just another cynical speech. But suddenly a ghastly thought struck me: No, the man believes what he is saying! (more…)

Rows of Coffins (photo credit: Tami SilicioMorale Collapsing for Many Military Families

By Jeff Davis
August 6th, 2006

A Zogby poll taken in February reports that 72 percent of US troops in Iraq think the occupation should end in 2006. 51 percent of US troops in that poll think the occupation should end in six months or less. These soldiers are on the ground in Iraq and they are seeing first hand how the occupation is going. They aren’t in some air-conditioned think tank in suburban America with Israeli flags on the wall, cheering on Rumsfeld and Cheney.

Our volunteer military joined to defend the United States, not the interests of Israel and Halliburton. There are some truly soulless people in America today, who don’t care one bit about these soldiers. Many of these people parrot the words “Well, those soldiers deserve to keep getting sent to Iraq, they volunteered, didn’t they?” (By the way, every time a neocon says those words, a devil gets his horns.) Most of these amoral Americans never served in the military. They are confusing the US military with a pack of mercenaries. Mercenaries should expect to be sent to fight for private corporations for evil purposes and deserve whatever happens to them. American soldiers deserve better.

London Map (Photo credit: cnn.com)Indigenous Population Soon to be a Minority in London

By BNP news team
August 6rd, 2006

The latest figures from the Office of National Statistics show that London now plays home to more than 2.5 million from ethnic minorities.

The results of the Annual Population Survey, which is based on returns from 65,000 homes is seen as more reliable than the national census conducted every ten years.

The ONS survey says non-whites made up 33.5 per cent of the population of London last year, compared with just under 29 per cent four years earlier.

In inner London, the proportion rises to 39.4 per cent, almost four in ten. Those counted as non-white include black Caribbeans and Africans, Asians, Chinese, and a series of categories ranked by statisticians as ‘black other’. (…Full Article)

Zionist Media Combine (Photo credit: ANU.org)The Dirty Work Of Zionism is Unfinished

By Curt Maynard
August 5th, 2006

Setting precedent could loosely be defined as establishing a pattern. In today’s world when we turn on the television we are constantly and consistently bombarded by pro-Israeli propaganda, there is no two ways about it, it’s a fact, manifestly evident to anyone with the capacity to think. On the one hand we are currently being subjected to a smear campaign against Mel Gibson, who allegedly made some so called “anti-Semitic” comments about the Jews being behind all the wars in the world today, and on the other we are being told that no matter how many Lebanese children die, it’s all Hizballah’s fault and/or the fault of their so called sponsors, Syria and Iran. There is one consistency in all this, a common denominator that never changes, the Israeli’s and Jews in general are always faultless, they are inevitably the victims of others, never the perpetrators, and anyone that questions this special status is a no good anti-Semite and/or, a terrorist. Boy faces down an Israeli TankThe Yoke of Zion

By Israel Shamir
August 6th, 2006

A small band of determined warriors takes on and fights off the mightiest army of the region: this is the stuff history is made of. Thermopylae, move over, Bint Jbeil is coming in! Bishop Philip of Antioch compared the levelling of this small Lebanese town with the destruction of Stalingrad, but these cities are also comparable by courage of their defenders. Seldom is a generation able to witness such a shining example of valour: for three long weeks a handful of Hezbollah warriors – two thousand by the most optimistic count – fought to standstill ten, twenty, thirty times more numerous Israeli troops. Forty years ago, Israelis defeated three armies in one week, but now the invader’s charm has worn off, or it has passed over to the vanquished. In today’s somewhat feminine victim-centred narrative, suffering attracts more attention than masculine gallantry. Thus Qana massacre has overshadowed a greater going-on, and that is the steadfast resistance of the Lebanese fighters. (…Full Article)

Metis Anti-Tank Missile LauncherIsraeli Tank Losses Could Foil Occupation

By James Buchanan
August 6th, 2006

An Associated Press article reports “Hezbollah’s sophisticated anti-tank missiles are perhaps the guerrilla group’s deadliest weapon in Lebanon fighting, with their ability to pierce Israel’s most advanced tanks. Experts say this is further evidence that Israel is facing a well-equipped army in this war, not a ragtag militia. Hezbollah has fired Russian-made Metis-M anti-tank missiles and owns European-made Milan missiles, the army confirmed on Friday. In the last two days alone, these missiles have killed seven soldiers and damaged three Israeli-made Merkava tanks — mountains of steel that are vaunted as symbols of Israel’s military might, the army said. Israeli media say most of the 44 soldiers killed in four weeks of fighting were hit by anti-tank missiles. ‘They (Hezbollah guerrillas) have some of the most advanced anti-tank missiles in the world,’ said Yossi Kuperwasser, a senior military intelligence officer who retired earlier this summer. ‘This is not a militia, it’s an infantry brigade with all the support units,’ Kuperwasser said.”

In wake of Qana, Israel and U.S. seen as terrorists

By Rep. Paul Findley
August 5th, 2006

The ghastly human carnage at Qana, Lebanon, should awaken everyone to the grim reality that our nation’s attachment to Israel is bad news. It entangles America in one awful mess after another: first 9/11, then Afghanistan, then Iraq, and now Lebanon. None would have occurred if our government had refused to support Israel’s long subjugation of the Palestinians.

Instead of continuing to ignore this entanglement with near-total silence, our citizens should now seek a way out through civilized open debate and discussion. If so, Qana will be a silver lining — although a bloody one–in this otherwise engulfing cloud. Striving as usual to live by the sword, Israelis seem unwilling to face the stark fact that they will never be truly secure until Palestinians feel secure in an independent state of their own. Hezbollah’s recent border skirmish was motivated partly by leader Hassan Nasrallah’s desire to show solidarity with the Palestinians in their lonely, desperate struggle for survival in Gaza.
