Each year Jews in the occupied territories dress up and parade like Baruch Goldstein (pictured on left) to commemorate and honor this murderer who shot and killed 29 Palestinians as they knelt and prayed in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron. Recently a rabbi on the West Bank has called on the Israeli government to murder all Palestinian males over the age of 13 in the occupied territories. Jewish rabbi calls for extermination of all Palestinian males

A Jewish rabbi living in the West Bank has called on the Israeli government to use their troops to kill all Palestinian males more than 13 years old in a bid to end Palestinian presence on this earth.

Extremist rabbi Yousef Falay, who dwells at the Yitzhar settlement on illegally seized Palestinian land in the northern part of the West Bank, wrote an article in a Zionist magazine under the title “Ways of War”, in which he called for the killing of all Palestinian males refusing to flee their country, describing his idea as the practical way to ensure the non-existence of the Palestinian race.

“We have to make sure that no Palestinian individual remains under our occupation. If they (Palestinians) escape then it is good; but if anyone of them remains, then he should be exterminated”, the fanatic rabbi added in his article.

Falay is not the first to have called for such extreme measures. Rabbi Meir Kahane, founder of the Kach movement, called for “the transfer of Israel’s Arab population to Arab (or other) lands.” (As it states on the group’s website). Followers of Kahane have been connected to a number of murders of Palestinians, particularly in the Hebron area in the southern West Bank. In the most well-known of such attacks, 29 Palestinians praying in the Ibrahimi Mosque in Hebron were gunned down by Baruch Goldstein, a follower of Kahane, in 1994, with Israeli soldiers looking on and allowing the gunman to reload his automatic machine gun and continue killing innocent civilians. In response to that massacre, the Israeli authorities punished the Palestinian victims by taking over the Ibrahimi mosque and turning half of it into a synagogue, where Israeli settlers go to pray each week. And each year, on the anniversary of the massacre, Israeli settlers in Hebron dress up like Baruch Goldstein and parade through the streets of Hebron, firing guns in the air. (more…)

Chabad: Keeping one’s true self hidden

The following is quoted from a Chabad website. A Jew asks if Jews have super powers. The Rabbi explains how the comic superheroes that Jewish writers created all present a deceptive pose to the world just as the Jews must be deceptive among Gentiles. He goes on to explain that Jews have different souls than Gentiles and how Jews, unlike Gentiles are literally part of God himself as compared to other peoples. Dear Peter,

It is no accident that the most famous super heroes were created by Jews. Bob Kane created Batman, Stan Lee and Jack Kirby created Spiderman, the Hulk and a host of other Marvel characters, and Superman was created by Joe Shuster and Jerry Seigel.

The conflict between the characters powers and secret identity has very Jewish overtones. Having to pass as everyone else in public, keeping one’s true self hidden is something that many Jews are familiar with.

Challenging the Power of the Jewish Lobby: What Should Be Done?

A number of writers have recently written critical articles or reviews about the power of the pro-Israel or Jewish Lobby and its influence on US policy in the Middle East. Most of these writings emphasize the power of the lobby over Congress, the two major parties (especially the Democrats) and the Executive branch. Some even describe the pro-Israel lobbies and the allied Jewish federations, the numerous propaganda institutes described as ‘think tanks’, publications as well as their influence or control over the mass media, from Hollywood, the print media, television to corporate “public” radio. However these critics and analysts paint themselves into a corner, attributing to the Jewish lobby so much power as to virtually incapacitate any effort to counter its influence and change the direction of US policy. The image of a near-omniscient and omnipotent Jewish lobby overlooks its vulnerability and significant issues around which an opposition or counter-hegemonic movement can be organized in the United States.

A starting point for building such a movement in some cases already exists in single issue campaigns; in other instances, some of the critical reports on the actions and behavior of the Lobby can become rallying points for organizing and pressing for new legislation and improving legislative restraints on Lobby activities.

Kill Arabs, Cry Anti-Semitism!

Dr. Norman G. Finkelstein has written a recent short article on the effort of the British government to combat “anti-Semitism.” In it he shows how the carnard anti-Semetism is used to shut down free speech, especially that which shows the murderous, terrorist policies of Jewish Supremacist Israel. On 11 October 1961 Israeli Prime Minister David Ben Gurion declared in the Israeli Knesset:

‘The Arabs’ exit from Palestine…began immediately after the UN resolution, from the areas earmarked for the Jewish state. And we have explicit documents testifying that they left Palestine following instructions by the Arab leaders, with the Mufti at their head, under the assumption that the invasion of the Arab armies at the expiration of the Mandate will destroy the Jewish state and push all the Jews into the sea, dead or alive’.
Thus, Mr Ben Gurion is asserting that it is his perception that 1) there were directions from the neighboring Arab states and the Mufti in Jerusalem for the indigenous Arabs of Palestine to evacuate their homes and lands on the promise that the Arab armies would destroy the nascent Jewish state, and, further, 2) that those armies intended to “push all the Jews into the sea, dead or alive”. The phrase “push all the Jews into the sea, dead or alive” has acquired a life of its own as it is invoked by Zionist supporters on a daily basis in order to justify the aggressive policies of Israel as well as its recalcitrance in continuing the occupation of the Palestinians of the West Bank, Gaza, and East Jerusalem.

Anti-Immigration Vlaams Belang Set for Strong Showing in Belgian Elections

The Vlaams Belang, which opposes non-White immigration into Belgium, is set for a strong showing in local elections due to be held in two weeks’ time, a poll has revealed.

The Ipsos poll published by De Morgen and La Libre newspapers showed the Vlaams Belang (Flemish Interest), which also advocates separatism for Flanders, remained the second most popular party in the Dutch-speaking region, just behind the Christian Democrats.

The party’s leader, Philip Dewinter also moved up to become the third most popular political leader in Flanders, up from fifth spot. Prime Minister Guy Verhofstadt, who is trying to keep his fragile coalition government together amid a confidence crisis, remained most popular leader ahead of his main rival Yves Leterme, first minister of Flanders and head of the Christian Democrats. Will Lunatic Bolton Be Fired?

Could it be–could it just possibly be–that Congress is on the verge of re-discovering something remotely resembling a spine, and deep-sixing one of the worst embarrassments that the neocons have inflicted on America and the world, our ambassador to the United Nations, John Bolton?

The Times of London reports that “John Bolton, President Bush’s controversial Ambassador to the United Nations, is in danger of losing his job as opposition to his appointment increases in the Senate. Mr Bush’s nomination of Mr Bolton to the UN met such opposition on Capitol Hill last year that he was forced to install him by means of a recess appointment, when Congress was not in session.”

The abuse of recess appointments, originally intended solely to be used in the case of genuine emergencies, is -by the way- one of the many examples of our transformation into a dictatorship from a representative republic.

The BBC goes on the say, “That appointment in August last year limited Mr Bolton’s tenure to the duration of the current Congress, which concludes on January 3, unless the Senate confirms him formally before then. The White House had hoped to get Mr Bolton confirmed this month, but Senate approval is looking increasingly unlikely. Another failed nomination would be a significant blow to Mr Bush, who has remained determined to see his choice confirmed permanently to the post, and a humiliation for Mr Bolton…Last week the Senate Foreign Relations Committee postponed a vote on Mr Bolton indefinitely after Lincoln Chafee, a moderate Republican in a tight mid-term Senate race, said that he still had doubts about the nomination.”

Germany’s Far-Right Wants to Expand West

Encouraged by their successes at polls in the economically sagging eastern Germany, far-right political parties are now trying to appeal to disgruntled voters in the western part of the country.

“Now we want to tackle the west,” said Udo Voigt, chairman of the far-right extremist National Democratic Party (NDP), this week in Berlin, just days after his party won more than 7 percent of the vote in state elections in Mecklenburg-Western Pommerania.

UN says Israeli overuse of cluster bombs in Lebanon ‘defies belief’

Following on a statement by an Israeli commander that the Israeli army fired at least 1.2 million cluster bomblets on Lebanon during the war, the majority of which were fired when hostilities were largely over, the United Nations humanitarian coordinator verified that number and harshly criticized the Israeli use of cluster bombs.

“The outrageous fact is that nearly all of these munitions were fired in the last three to four days of the war,” David Shearer, the United Nations (UN) humanitarian coordinator in Lebanon, told a news conference in Beirut Tuesday.

The United Nations coordinator added, “Most bomblets were fired by the time the conflict had been largely resolved in the form of Resolution 1701″, adding, “We know these (cluster) munitions have a failure rate and it seems to me extraordinary that they were fired off in the last hours of the war into areas where civilian populations were known to be going,” Shearer said.

“For a humanitarian person, it defies belief that this would happen.”

Meanwhile, UN Emergency Relief Coordinator Jan Egeland has called Israel “completely immoral” for using cluster bombs in residential areas. (….Full Article)

NPD victory in Germany!

The National Democratic Party (NPD) won about 7% in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania - with 5% needed to enter parliament.

The polls also showed Mrs Merkel’s Christian Democrat (CDU) party trailing rival parties in Berlin.

Early results gave the NPD between 7.1% and 7.3% in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania.

Erwin Sellering, deputy leader of the Social Democrat Party (SPD) in Mecklenburg, said that result would be “depressing for us all because it was our common goal to prevent it”.

Early results showed Berlin’s popular Mayor Klaus Wowereit of the SPD clearly heading for re-election, as had been thought likely.

Two states in former communist eastern Germany already have “far-right” MPs.

The NPD’s support is partly explained by its hard anti-immigrant stance in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, which has soaring unemployment. (….Full Article)

Theodor Herzl, the founder of modern political Zionism, is compared to Adolf Hitler in a compact disk distributed to schools across the country by Shofar, an organization associated with haredi fire-and-brimstone preacher Rabbi Amnon Yitzhak.

Shofar’s CD is a professionally produced two-hour attack on secular Zionism that labels Herzl, Revisionist Zionist founder Ze’ev Jabotinsky, writer Joseph Haim Brenner, and prime minister David Ben-Gurion as anti-Semites who hated their own religious tradition.

But Herzl is singled out as a Hitlerian figure. In the video, Israelis, apparently chosen at random in Ramat Aviv’s Mall, are asked to read out loud excerpts from Herzl’s diary in which he advocates “encouraging anti-Semites to destroy Jewish property.” The people are then asked to guess who wrote the entry. One after another they reply, “Hitler.”

Amnesty and the Welfare State

Last week I spoke about simple steps Congress should take to address the problem of illegal immigration. Simple, however, does not mean easy. While the American people are demanding real immigration reform, many in Washington lack the political will to do what is required.

That’s why I’ve joined my colleagues in the House Immigration Reform caucus in demanding legislation this year that focuses on securing physical control of our borders while rejecting amnesty in any form. Congress has taken notice, and took an important first step last week by passing the Secure Fence Act of 2006– legislation that provides physical security by lengthening border walls and creating a virtual border fence that extends thousands of miles.

But many Senators, Representatives, and administration officials remain committed to pursuing amnesty in some form. The dictionary defines amnesty as a general pardon for offenders by a government, and most of the immigration reform proposals in both chambers of Congress certainly meet that definition. Millions of people who broke the law by entering, staying, and working in our country will not be punished, but rather rewarded with a visa and ultimately citizenship. This is amnesty, plain and simple. Lawbreakers are given legal status, while those seeking to immigrate legally face years of paperwork and long waits for a visa. (more…)

War Criminal at Bay

President George Bush, betrayed by the neoconservatives whom he elevated to power and by his Attorney General, Torture Gonzales who gave him wrong legal advice, is locked in a desperate struggle with the Republican Congress to save himself from war crimes charges at the expense of America’s reputation and our soldiers’ fate.

Beguiled by neoconservatives, who told him that the virtuous goals of the American empire justified any means, and misled by an incompetent Attorney General, who told him that the President of the US is above the law, Bush was deceived into committing war crimes under Article 3 of the Geneva Convention and the US War Crimes Act of 1996. Bush is now desperately trying to save himself by having the US Congress retroactively repeal both Article 3 and US law. 

Under the US Constitution retroactive law is without force, but desperate men will try anything.

President Bush has given no thought to the impact on America’s reputation of his strident campaign to write torture into US law. He has given no thought to what saving himself means for captured US troops if the US government guts Article 3 of the Geneva Conventions. (….Full Article)
