Democracy in Action: Another Holocaust Trial Starts in France

A French Front National leader and member of the European Parliament went on trial Tuesday over remarks in which he merely called for an investigation into the Jew holocaust hoax, - and did not deny the existence of gas chambers.
Bruno Gollnisch, the No. 2 in France’s National Front party, is accused of “disputing a crime against humanity” in the trial in Lyon in southeast France. He faces up to one year in prison if convicted.
At an October 2004 news conference, press Gollnisch said that while he did not question the existence of gas chambers in the Holocaust, he thought the numbers might have been exaggerated and that the whole issue should be properly investigated.
Simply expressing this extremely reasonable comment infuriated the Jews who run France beyond words, and Grollinicsh was subsequently charged. He was suspended by University in, where he taught law and Japanese, for five years over the remarks. (….Full Article Here)
