Rabbis Meet Ahmadinejad In New York

PRESS TV reports: A number of Jewish rabbis carrying placards of “I’m a Jew, not a Zionist” have met President Ahmadinejad at his residence in New York.

The senior Jewish rabbi welcomed the Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and called the meeting an extraordinary good fortune for the Jewish rabbis.

The senior Jewish rabbi said the memory of this meeting would never fade, adding that the Iranian President understands the Jews, and makes a distinction between the violent actions of the Zionists and Jewish religious belief which is of great importance for us.

President Ahmadinejad also expressed his delight at the meeting, saying, “All prophets share one mission, that is, the guidance of mankind. Today people of the world have come to realize the fact that Judaism is different from Zionism. Jews are followers of Moses and Zionists are seeking political opportunities.”

The rabbis offered a silver cup to Iran’s President in commemoration of Ahmadinejad’s friendship toward the Jewish community.

Neturei Karta: Ahmadinejad wants peace

Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad wants peace and is a friendly leader, Neturei Karta International spokesman Rabbi Yisroel Dovid Weiss said in a statement issued ahead of a meeting between the Jewish organization leaders and the Islamic republic’s president.

“It is always our pleasure to visit with President Ahmadinejad. This will be the third such meeting, in addition to our many visits to Iran in the past. We have each time emphasized to the Iranian leadership that we have found the Iranian people and their leaders to be friendly and respectful,” Weiss wrote. (more…)

The Education Of A Zionist

I grew up in a home with strong Zionist traditions. My uncle was an official of the Zionist Organization of America and made many trips to Israel. When in New York, my aunt and uncle were frequent visitors to our home, especially around holiday time where dinner celebrations always ended with the singing of Hatikvah, the Israeli national anthem. On those occasions, they would dazzle us with their stories of experiences in the Holy Land.

My mother was a lifelong member of Hadassah, the organization that raises funds for Israeli hospitals and medical research, and I was expected to carry on that tradition when my mother passed from the scene. My family had returned to New York after my father’s early retirement to California because of a thyroid condition, in order for my brother and me to have a Hebrew education. We both were enrolled in parochial schools where we spent half the day in Jewish studies, and the other half in the required English ones.

During summers, I was packed off to camp where we spoke, ate and even played baseball in Hebrew. We fought color wars that had us setting up watch towers for new settlements in the dead of night without being detected, and we went on night treks up hillsides to plant our flag at the summit. We role-played pioneers establishing the homeland, and we were expected to be brave, tough, and fluent in Hebrew. Our Israeli counselors would ridicule us when we didn’t measure up to their expectations. (more…)

Insane Frenzy Over Ahmadinejad Visit Concocted by Israeli Propagandists

The real news is that Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad is proudly and unswervingly continuing to assert his nation’s sovereignty in the face of what many now openly call “the NewWorld Order.”

Speaking before the United Nations on Sept. 25, Ahmadinejad said the matter of dispute (by the United States and Israel) surrounding Iran’s nuclear program is “now closed” and that his country will not submit to pressure from “arrogant powers.”

The issue is no longer “political” for the U.S.-dominated UN Security Council, he said, but a “technical” one for observation and monitoring by the International Atomic Energy Agency. The IAEA has refused to rush to endorse claims by the United States and Israel that Iran is engaged in a fervent drive to build nuclear weapons.

Ahmadinejad did not mention in his UN speech (as he could have) that Israel is known to be one of the planet’s best-armed nuclear powers—central to the problem of atomic proliferation in the Middle East, having been engaged in weapons development since the early 1950s. Israel does not permit inspections of its own nuclear arsenal nor has Israel signed the Nuclear Non-Proliferation Treaty, which Iran has, the latter a point the Iranian leader did make. In short, Ahmadinejad—and Iran—will not buckle.

For failing to bend to U.S. and Israeli pressure, Ahmadinejad was hounded during his visit to New York with perhaps the loudest, most outlandish media spectacle that even that city has ever witnessed.

And while the media would have Americans believe the bizarre frenzy that erupted in the streets of NewYork was a spontaneous grass-roots uprising in opposition to the appearance at Columbia University by Ahmadinejad (prior to his UN speech), nothing could be further from the truth.

Operation “Secure America” Begins Friday

The muster will be concentrated throughout Arizona, California, Texas and Washington State, and will serve to demonstrate citizen support and appreciation for the work conducted by agents of the U.S. Border Patrol.

“The Border Patrol receives an endless supply of empty political rhetoric—and little else—from Washington lawmakers who refuse to set the priorities or provide the necessary resources for securing our nation’s porous borders,” states MCDC President and Founder Chris Simcox. “MCDC volunteers know Border Patrol agents are severely undermanned and continuously punished with less support and ever more high-risk, especially since the withdrawal of the National Guard in August.”

Current federal policies already raise concerns that our broken borders serve as an open pathway to an increasing illegal alien migrant invasion. MCDC believes that the media’s “no illegal immigrant story here” spin on the recent New Jersey MS-13 gang execution-style murders, and reluctance by the federal government to enforce immigration laws will exacerbate a worsening situation of criminal cartel border incursions and “coyote” migrant-trafficking violence, which has been fed by irresponsible “amnesty” talk from the Bush administration.

The story of James McClatchy is one that epitomizes the American dream. He was born in Ireland in 1824 and left for the United States during the Potato Famine. He was at one time a journalist for the New York Tribune. At the age of 24, he wound up in California and in 1849 had located to Sacramento, the future state’s present day capital city.

Upon his arrival to Sacramento, his storied life reached its pinnacle. He became sheriff of Sacramento, and is still regarded as one of its most well known sheriffs.However, McClatchy is most famous for his founding (or taking over days after its founding) of the Sacramento Bee in 1857, which is by far the city’s largest newspaper today. The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy

The first chapter of Walt and Mearsheimer’s new book The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy is entitled “The Great Benefactor.” The authors expose the unparalleled financial, military and diplomatic aid that has been siphoned off of U.S. taxpayers and donated to Israel over the years. Several points they cover are -

1. In the early days the U.S. gave Israel modest foreign aid and sought to steer a neutral course between Israel and its Arab neighbors. We averaged $63 million a year in aid between 1949 to 1965, the amount then soared to $634.5 million by 1971, and since 1979 our foreign aid tab for Israel has routinely exceeded $3 billion annually.

2. We allow Israel certain privileges in how they use our money that we extend to no other nation. Some examples: Israel receives all the aid at once in a lump sum payment rather than quarterly like other nations; other nations must spend all military assistance on U.S. made equipment, but Israel may spend 25% of the aid on Israeli made equipment; Israel is the only nation that does not have to account for how it spends our economic aid.

3. Our support is virtually unconditional: “Israel gets aid despite its refusal to sign the Non-Proliferation Treaty and its various WMD programs. It gets its aid when it builds settlements in the Occupied Territories…It also gets aid when it annexes territory it has conquered…sells U.S. military technology to potential enemies like China, conducts espionage operations on U.S. soil, or uses U.S. weapons in ways that violate U.S. law…And it gets its aid even when Israeli leaders renege on pledges made to U.S. presidents”.

Reid Delays Dream Act But Promises Passage This Fall!

Wednesday evening, Sen. Majority Leader Reid tabled the Dream Amnesty Act until later this fall. Reid and Durbin all-but guaranteed the bill will be back in the next 6 weeks. Reid said the battle is “still on” and “we will move to proceed to this matter before we leave here.” But for now once again our grassroots pressure made the difference.

“With conservatives being barraged with calls, faxes and e-mails from anti-illegal immigration groups that view the DREAM Act as amnesty, some Republicans who supported the measure in the past have been reluctant to do so now”

Grassroots Activism Works!

Grassfire team members alone sent over 260,000 faxes to the Senate in less than two weeks. Add to that tens of thousands of phone calls along with the combined efforts of NumbersUSA and other groups, “barraged” is a very good description of what YOU did.

Again, unless citizens stood up and spoke out, the Senate would have passed this amnesty package as an amendment to the Defense spending bill.

In the face of overwhelming citizen opposition to this latest amnesty effort, Reid and Durbin still vowed to pass this bill — highlighting their arrogance and determination to push their amnesty agenda.

Hate Bill Passes!

By a vote of 60 to 39 this morning, Sens. Kennedy and Smith’s hate crimes amendment was attached to the defense authorization act.  After three days of virtual silence, several Republican senators spoke against the bill within the two hours of debate. Sen. Lindsey Graham briefly argued that, if passed, the President will veto the hate bill and arms bill together, jeopardizing timely support of our troops. Sen. Jeff Sessions contended that states are adequately dealing with hate crimes and that Kennedy’s amendment burdens the defense authorization bill. Senate majority leader Mitch McConnell, arriving after the debate, was allowed to very briefly state that a hate bill was irrelevant to an arms bill.

The real hero of the day was Sen. Orrin Hatch. Yesterday he stood alone among Republicans to publicly oppose the hate bill. But today he spoke three times with powerful, logical, legal, and constitutional reasons why the hate bill is redundant to state law enforcement, which adequately deals with all kinds of violent crime. He said that gender identity, as put forth in this legislation, is unclear.  Its definition depends on the subjective perceptions of both the hate criminal and the victim. He offered his own amendment (which was later passed unanimously) calling for the federal government to authorize studies to determine if states are adequately enforcing hate crimes laws.

Lies, lies and more lies about President Ahmadinejad

Once more the Zionist-controlled media in America deluges the American public with lies about Iran’s President, Ahmadinejad.

The Jewish extremist Neocons want to repeat the catastrophe of the American war for Israel in Iraq, a war based completely on lies. As most Americans now know, the Iraq War has been nothing but catastrophic for the true interests of the American people.

And now the lie machine is going full bore. In thousands of articles, news shows, public statements and the like we are hearing two constantly repeated lies about the Iranian President.

First we hear incessantly that he has called for Israel to be “wiped off the map,” an allusion to some sort of nuclear holocaust over Israel. This allegation is a bald-faced lie. I was present for one of his speeches in Tehran in which he supposedly made this threat against Israel. In fact, he said he thought the Zionist regime would fall with time just as the Communist regime in Russia fell. Was Russia wiped off the map when Communism fell? Of course it was not. The word map was not even used, and In his speech Ahmadinejad went on to say that the human rights of all people in the Mideast must be respected, Muslim, Jew and Christian and that he hoped there would be real democracy where the people of the region could freely vote for the kind of government they wanted. That is the opposite of the reported “wipe Israel off the map lie,” a vicious lie intended to beat the drums for murderous and catastrophic war against Iran.

The second major lie about Ahmadinejad is that he is a “Holocaust denier.” Ahmadinejad has from the beginning said that he believes there were terrible crimes against Jews during the Second World War that nobody denies, but he has simply said that real history means that all points of view should be debated and heard. He also correctly points out that 60 million people died in the war, mostly civilians, so why does the world hear more about Jewish suffering in the press than about all the other 60 million victims of the war combined! The Holocaust: “The most documented event in human history” !

President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad was formally invited to come speak by an academic department of Columbia University. In his introduction, President Lee Bollinger made a vicious attack on President Ahmadinejad that is probably unprecedented in regard to the treatment of a foreign national leader invited to speak at a major university. He called Ahmadinejad a “cruel and petty dictator.” In fact, Ahmadinejad is a popular elected official in a country with an active Parliament. He called Ahmadinejad “uneducated” when in truth he is very well educated and teaches university classes. He repeated the Jewish-extremist lie that Ahmadinejad called for “wiping Israel off the map.” He called Ahmadinejad a “Holocaust denier” when all he has asked for is freedom of speech, inquiry and debate on the Holocaust as on all historical subjects. The insults were not limited to the Columbia University audience but were broadcast to the world.

All this came about for one reason, and one reason only: the intense pressure applied by Jewish extremists against the university for inviting him. Bollinger had to save his academic rear end by making this attack. Do anything less and Bollinger’s academic career would have been in dire jeopardy.

Certainly, it is good for foreign leaders to speak publicly and explain their positions. In truth, isn’t it better to enter dialogue with international leaders to resolve differences rather than rushing toward the catastrophic consequences of war.

In perhaps the key statement that he made In putting down the Iranian President, President Bollinger showed his own stark ignorance by making the startling, incredibly stupid statement that “The Holocaust is the most documented event in human history.” Come now, is the Holocaust really the most documented event in human history? Has it been more documented than World War I or World War II. I dare say, it is probably not even as well documented and studied as the American Civil War and the Bolshevik Revolution. Calling the Holocaust the “most documented event in human history” shows how when it comes to the Holocaust any claim can be made, no matter how incredible — without any refutation. Not a single well-known public or academic figure in America (save me) has yet dared to correct this idiotic statement. I am sure now in defense of the Holocaust we will constantly hear in the media that “the Holocaust is the most documented event in human history” the same way we hear the obvious lie that Ahmadinejad called for “wiping Israel of the map.” (more…)

Do New Right Leaders Want Hate Bill Passed?

On Wednesday, Democrats still were unable to get a vote on passage of Sen. Kennedy’s hate crimes bill.  They seemed to have difficulty rounding up at least 60 pro-hate bill Senators on the floor at the same time. Sen. Reid says the vote will be taken Thursday morning. (See, C-SPAN 2)

Meanwhile, Sens. Kennedy, Smith, Reid, and other pro-hate bill Democrats have eagerly responded to the invitation for anyone to speak on any subject. They passionately promote the hate bill, calling for a vote. No Republican Senators, to my knowledge, have taken the same opportunity to criticize the same hate bill except Sen. Orrin Hatch late Wednesday.

Until Wednesday, the largest conservative watchdog groups continued their blackout of the current hate bill threat. (See, Hate Bill Ready for a Vote) They have written against ENDA but given no hint to their millions of internet constituents that there exists a hate bill crisis in the Senate.

When NPN checked Focus on the Family’s website at 10:45 a.m. Wednesday, there was no mention of any hate bill crisis in the Senate. Later in the day, just when so little time was left, predictably, Focus on the Family and Traditional Family Values Coalition ended the week’s silence by issuing alerts asking for massive calls to the Senate. FRC posted an alert sometime on Wednesday. But Sen. Reid promises voting as early as 10:15 a.m. Thursday. In order for these calls to have any effect, they would have to reach Senate offices by 9 a.m.!, which means West coast callers will have to begin before 6 a.m. ! Clearly, these Christian/conservative leaders are attempting to cover their tracks. But the fact remains that until Wednesday afternoon they willingly and calculatingly ignored on their websites the well-known crisis in the Senate that has been going on since at least Monday.

The Hypocrisy of those who bend to Jewish Supremacism

Bowing to the Jewish extremists, Columbia President Lee Bollinger said the President Ahmadinejad “calls for Israel to be ‘wiped off the map,’ who shows himself to be “astonishingly uneducated” by denying the Holocaust, and who is responsible for a “brutal crackdown” on intellectuals, students, human rights activists, women and homosexuals.”

First off, it is an easily disproven lie that Ahmadinejad never called for Israel to be “wiped off the map.” But it is true that the Jewish extremists and the Zionist supporters around the world who have wiped “Palestine off the map.” Why no criticism of Zionist leaders who speak at Columbia, even teach at Columbia who have supported the Jewish takeover of Palestine, of the continued theft of Palestinian land on the West Bank?

More hypocrisy is clearly displayed in Bollinger’s statement that Ahmadinejad’s denying of the Holocaust and then condemning him for a “brutal crackdown” on intellectuals, students, human rights activists, etc. Would Bollinger address the heads of France and Germany and condemn them for the brutal crackdown of thousands of students, academics, of both men and women who have dared to voice their freedom of speech on the historical aspects of the Holocaust? Historian David Irving was in jail for over a year for voicing his opinion. Ernest Zundel has been held for two years without charge in Canada and sentenced to 5 years in prison in Germany for simply questioning aspects of the Holocaust Story. Germar Rudolf, a German-born academic was deported from his wife and child in America to face years of prison in Germany for simply editing an intellectual journal on revisionist issues. Which is a real violation of human rights: intellectual challenging some of the assumptions of the Holocaust, or putting people in prison for crimes of speech and conscience?

When will the current leaders of France and Germany be challenged for their blatant denial of the most fundamental of all human rights, freedom of speech? In the political and media establishment of America, the truth and justice are turned upside down.

A Feeling I’m Being Had

I was happy to hear that NYC didn’t allow Iranian President Ahmadinejad to place a wreath at the WTC site. And I was happy that Columbia University is rescinding the offer to let him speak. If you let a guy like that express his views, before long the entire world will want freedom of speech.

I hate Ahmadinejad for all the same reasons you do. For one thing, he said he wants to “wipe Israel off the map.” Scholars tell us the correct translation is more along the lines of wanting a change in Israel’s government toward something more democratic, with less gerrymandering. What an ass-muncher!

Ahmadinejad also called the holocaust a “myth.” Blank him! A myth is something a society uses to frame their understanding of their world, and act accordingly. It’s not as if the world created a whole new country because of holocaust guilt and gives it a free pass no matter what it does. That’s Iranian crazy talk. Ahmadinejad can blank me.

Most insulting is the fact that “myth” implies the holocaust didn’t happen. Blank him for saying that! He also says he won’t dispute the historical claims of European scientists. That is obviously the opposite of saying the holocaust didn’t happen, which I assume is his way of confusing me. God-damned Blank. (more…)

Hate Bill Protest Very Small

The Senate adjourned Friday afternoon without considering Sen. Kennedy’s hate crimes amendment to the military appropriations bill. But they will resume consideration of the bill on Monday.  Freedom of speech in America is at the greatest risk in the history of our country.  Yet, alarmingly, an NPN survey Friday revealed that relatively few calls of protest went in to Senate offices last week.

This is true although for two weeks I have been on total alert, warning that unless lovers of freedom protest loudly the hate bill could well slip through.  On 15 radio interviews and www.rense.com I addressed close to a million patriotic Americans, yet during this period I was disturbed at how little feedback came in at www.truthtellers.org.

This lack of concern is largely a result of widespread agreement among many Christian/conservative leaders that Pres. Bush, by his promise to veto the hate bill, has neutralized its threat.  Last week, my friend Guy Adams, who knows scores of new right leaders, found that most now consider the hate bill no longer an imminent danger.  Their strategy is to praise and support Pres. Bush, confident that he will respond to their loyalty by remaining true to his veto promise. It seems as if, regardless of his intentions, the President’s promise has effectively destroyed most organized opposition to the hate bill. 

On Friday, Sept. 14, Sen. Kennedy audaciously tried to attach his hate bill to the military appropriations bill, calling for a unanimous consent agreement from the Senate, omitting debate. Sen. McCain blocked Kennedy on Friday, but it is sobering that five days passed before any timely internet warnings came out from most of the largest leaders of the evangelical right — a period which might have seen victory for the hate bill.
