Cloture Vote On DREAM Act Amnesty Fails

(October 24) The Senate failed to obtain cloture on the DREAM Act amnesty (S. 2205) earlier this afternoon by a 52-44 vote, for which 60 YES votes were needed to prevent a filibuster. At this time, leadership from both parties are meeting to discuss further proceedings. Majority Leader Harry Reid (D-Nev.) and Assistant Majority Leader Dick Durbin (D-Ill.) were attempting to bring this nightmarish amnesty bill to the floor under Senate Rule XIV without it ever having been debated in committee. Earlier this morning, the Bush Administration issued a statement opposing the DREAM Act …

Slovenia digs up proof of post World War II slaughter

540 mass graves are believed to hold up to 100,000 bodies

LANCOVO, Slovenia: After digging for two hours in a chilly forest clearing, the workers had their evidence: bones and the soil-covered, blackened remnant of a shoe confirmed that this was a secret mass grave from World War II.

In the trees a short distance from where the diggers worked, an elderly man looked on. He would not give his name, but said he was at the same spot when he was 16, one morning in 1945, after he heard shouting in the night.

The Lancovo grave is one target of a Slovenian government program to help people come to terms with a hidden legacy of unprecedented slaughter during the war.

So far, 540 such sites have been registered across Slovenia. They are believed to hold up to 100,000 bodies.

“The killings that took place here have no comparison in Europe. In two months after the war, more people were killed here than in the four years of war,” said Joze Dezman, a historian who heads the committee for registering hidden graves.

“Srebrenica is like an innocent case compared to that,” he said, referring to the Bosnia Serb Army’s killing in 1995 of about 8,000 displaced Muslim civilians in Bosnia, their corpses bulldozed into the earth.

Those killed in Slovenia were mostly soldiers who collaborated with the Nazis. Most were slain in the woods without trial. They were victims of a vengeful killing spree by partisans of the Yugoslav leader after British-led Allied troops turned them back from Austria and handed them over.

Psychologist blames assaults on civilians on soldiers’ bad training, boredom and poor supervision

A study by an Israeli psychologist into the violent behaviour of the country’s soldiers is provoking bitter controversy and has awakened urgent questions about the way the army conducts itself in the Gaza Strip and West Bank.

Nufar Yishai-Karin, a clinical psychologist at the Hebrew University in Jerusalem, interviewed 21 Israeli soldiers and heard confessions of frequent brutal assaults against Palestinians, aggravated by poor training and discipline. In her recently published report, co-authored by Professor Yoel Elizur, Yishai-Karin details a series of violent incidents, including the beating of a four-year-old boy by an officer.

The report, although dealing with the experience of soldiers in the 1990s, has triggered an impassioned debate in Israel, where it was published in an abbreviated form in the newspaper Haaretz last month. According to Yishai Karin: ‘At one point or another of their service, the majority of the interviewees enjoyed violence. They enjoyed the violence because it broke the routine and they liked the destruction and the chaos. They also enjoyed the feeling of power in the violence and the sense of danger.’

In the words of one soldier: ‘The truth? When there is chaos, I like it. That’s when I enjoy it. It’s like a drug. If I don’t go into Rafah, and if there isn’t some kind of riot once in some weeks, I go nuts.’

Questions for The Republican Jewish Coalition

Recently, there was a large hoopla in the libertarian areas of the political Internet about the Republican Jewish Coalition. The Coalition – so did the Internet have it – refused to receive Ron Paul at their “Victory 2008 Republican Jewish Coalition Candidates Forum”. According to a variety of sources, Ron Paul was not allowed to get on the forums because he was ‘not seen as a top tier contender’ and ‘opposed aid to Israel’. Given that the Internet is plagued with the kind of folks that’ll blame ‘the Israeli lobby’ for global warming if you let them loose, I was doubtful.

But given that the editors of http://capitalism.co.il  are very interested in the Ron Paul Revolution, I went out and called the RJC myself to verify. RJC’s very kind press secretary (whose surname I was, unfortunately, not able to write down) confirmed to me that this was indeed true: Ron Paul was not invited because he was considered a ‘long-shot candidate’ and because he ‘votes against aid to Israel’ and ‘criticizes the Israeli lobby’.

I will not discuss the first of these statements – the RJC has invited Huckabee, who polls consistently behind Ron Paul in both straw polls and scientific Gallup and Harris polls, and then refused to replace him with Ron Paul when Huckabee refused to arrive at the Candidates Forum. It is clear to me that the main reason for Ron Paul not being invited is the difference in policy between him and the RJC. (more…)

Iranian “knowledge” of how to make the Bomb enough to trigger World War III

True to his pattern of using false claims to justify wars of agenda (recall Bush’s pernicious inferences that Saddam Hussein had ties to the 9/11 terrorist attacks used to deceive Americans into Iraq) the president is again playing deceptive word games in order to lower the threshold necessary to trigger his latest dark ambition: war with Iran.

“We have got a leader in Iran who has announced that he wants to destroy Israel,” President Bush recently claimed of Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad. “So I have told people that, if you are interested in avoiding World War III, it seems like you ought to be interested in preventing them from having the knowledge necessary to make a nuclear weapon.”

What a clever mix of rhetorical propaganda, verbal gymnastics and outright lies — all masked by a thin veneer of feigned idealism — Bush and his neocon speechwriters are capable of employing in order to push America ever further down the road toward a Middle East conflagration.

Let’s start with Bush’s outright lie: “We have got a leader in Iran who has announced that he wants to destroy Israel.”

What Bush is referring to is a 2005 speech in which Ahmadinejad is alleged to have said “Israel must be wiped off the map.”

The problem is, even though the so-called quote was widely reported in the propaganda organs of Western media and to this day is parroted on television, in magazines and newspapers by neocon ideologues with a pro-war agenda, Ahmadinejad never actually said any such thing.

In an article entitled ‘Wiped off the Map’ – The Rumor of the Century, Farsi speaker Arash Norouzi painstakingly corrected the mistranslation of Ahmadinejad’s statement:

Commentary by David Duke – When I first saw the article copied from The Telegraph newspaper, I couldn’t believe my eyes. I thought it might be a satire, for truth about the Jewish view of Jesus Christ is almost never mentioned in the mainstream media, and certainly not by any leading Christian official in the world. I even went to The Telegraph website expecting not to find it, that it must be a fake. I was amazed to see that it was indeed authentic. Cardinal George of Chicago in an exceptional display of courage and honesty, recently spoke openly about the double standards that exist for Christians and Jews. Jews have long lobbied, often successfully, to change Catholic liturgy. They have expressed great offense that Catholics have prayed for the conversion and salvation of all non-Christians, including the Jewish people. The Catholic church has complied in a number of instances and altered its prayers. But, the Jewish extremists are not satisfied (are they ever?) and they are agitating for even more change.

The controversy over Catholic prayers asking God to help Jews see the light of the salvation of Jesus Christ evoked thousands of media articles and critical commentaries (in the Jewish dominated media) against the Catholic Church. Abraham Foxman of the ADL as well as leading Jewish officials around the world have demanded that catholic liturgy be amended to take out the offending passages. Yet, practically nothing is said about vicious Jewish references to Jesus Christ. In the Jewish Talmud, the chief texts of the Jewish religion and law, Jesus is described as a devil, a sex pervert, a charlatan and a bastard. Sections call his mother Mary a whore. The Talmud even goes on to announce that Jesus is being eternally boiled in excrement. I don’t see how one anyone could get more hateful and vile than that. Yet, few Christians even know about this and many think that the Jewish religion thinks favorably about Christ. Evangelicals who are told by some leaders to support the Jewish religion are never told about the viciously anti-Christ nature of Judaism. Remember Emily Elizabeth Haddock

On September 21, 2007, a 12-year old white girl named Emily Haddock was home sick from school. Four black males broke into her home and shot her in the head numerous times. Her body was found later that same day by her grandfather. Initially the police described the murder scene as “brutal,” but didn’t elaborate. Almost immediately a shroud enveloped the case and any further details have been carefully suppressed.

The four black males charged are Sherrod Nicholas Harrison, 19, Michael Graham Currie, 18, Van Roger Smith Jr., 16, and Ryan Jermar White, 18. Despite the fact that all of them are adults, including 16-year old Smith, given the crime, and two have extensive criminal records the media, and local police insist on referring to them all as “teens,” in an effort to mitigate what they’ve done .

Like the hideous race murders of Channon Christian and Chris Newsom last January, which has been effectively suppressed by the mainstream media, this crime too has been carefully ignored. Crimes like these are known as “hush crimes,” because they receive absolutely no mainstream national news coverage, these innocent victims are murdered first by the perpetrators and then their memories murdered again, sacrificed on the alter of political correctness. If they receive any news coverage at all, it’s local, just as is the case with the Emily Haddock murder.

What happened in Jena Louisiana with the Jena 6 is politically correct, because it involves alleged “black victims” and white perpetrators. In the case of the Jena 6, despite the fact that six blacks were the actual perpetrators, they did after all assault and seriously injure a lone white boy, they are amazingly transformed into the identified victims by the Zionist media, and the actual victim, Justin Barker, is all but forgotten, another sacrifice on the alter of multiculturalism, tolerance and diversity. OTTAWA, October 17, 2007. This afternoon, by unanimous consent, the House of Commons past a motion banning free speech activists Alexan Kulbashian and Paul Fromm. Director of the Canadian Association for Free Expression from the House of Commons. The ban was put in place to thwart a press conference scheduled for Friday at 1:30 in the Charles Lynch Room of the Parliamentary Press Gallery.

Hansard records: “By unanimous consent, it was ordered, ‘That this House order that Alexan Kulbashian and Paul Fromm be denied admittance to the precincts of the House of Commons during the present Session to preserve the dignity and integrity of the House.’”

“MPs have acted with stunning arrogance and disregard for free speech,” Fromm charged. “After all, it’s we taxpayers who foot the bill for this place. It’s not their private little club. ‘Parliament’ from the French parler (to talk) should be a place of talk and free exchange of ideas, not of the sort of suppression more in keeping with the thuggish generals of Burma,” he added.

“Our research shows that only five people have ever been banned from the House of Commons,” Mr. Fromm explained. “The first was Louis Riel who led an armed rebellion against the Dominion Government in the 19th century. The other four were critics of the Canadian Human Rights Commission. Controversial publisher Ernst Zundel and his lawyer Doug Christie were banned from the precincts of the House of Commons in 1998 when they sought to hold a press conference to complain that the Canadian Human Rights Commission does not consider truth a defence against charges of hate.”

It is amazing (but not surprising) that the Jewish controlled media, especially the supposedly liberal British branch of the Jewish controlled media, are encouraging genocide denial, after savaging David Irving, and are attempting to scapegoat the Armenians and Democrats for the actions of the Doenmeh Jews in Turkey. Jewry had hoped to stigmitize Islam with the label of genocide. Their plans have backfired on them, because it has come out that crypto-Jews were the planners, financiers, and leaders of the Armenian genocide.

Now Jewry seeks to cover up and deny the Armenian genocide, but their plans are backfiring on them, because the issue is receiving far more attention due to their denial, than if they had simply passed the resolution and then shut up. The supposed liberal, anti-war media, which has been so ineffective at stopping the war in Iraq and preventing the planned war on Iran—deliberately so, of course—now complains that the Armenian genocide resolution may provoke Turkey to curtail American efforts to continue the war in Iraq. Odd that, is it not? Jewry attempts to deny that they were behind the war on Iraq, and yet when an opportunity arises to end the war, they complain with bitter disappointment that the war may end, this from many of the same Jews who claim that they had always opposed an attack on Iraq. According to Vanity Fair, the Jewish minority, which makes up only about 2.5% of the American population, represents more than fifty percent of its most influential citizens. More notable, perhaps, is how overrepresented Jews are among what Vanity Fair calls the “New Establishment,” or the up-and-coming American power men–of twenty-five, at least sixteen are Jews. This means that, of America’s wealthiest and most influential men, more than sixty percent–more than twenty times the amount one would expect from their percentage of the population–are Jews. And though Vanity Fair, of course, won’t have the courage to tell you, their so-called “Pit Stop Club,” which includes a list of nine men who, thought they didn’t make the “New Establishment” list this year, will certainly be back on the list soon–of the nine men, eight are Jews: fully eighty-eight percent!

“What Is Extremism?”

Here is the text of the speech I delivered on Sunday, October 14th at the No More Wars For Israel conference in Orange County, California. This is not a word-for-word rendition of that talk since some editing, additions and deletions were made to the text. The ideas contained herein are even more relevant now than when I penned them, mainly because the ugly face of the Zionist Jewish criminal network, the ADL came out in force to violate our civil rights and our First Amendment freedoms. Working with local law enforcement, B’nai B’rith and their shylock lackeys lied (what a shock!) and tried to label our gathering as an ”extremist event” that was linked up with “terrorism.” Thanks to this nefariousness, the Marriot Hotel violated the terms of our contract and we were forced to hold the conference in other facilities. But the Jews lost in the end because the conference was an overwhelming success. Of course the Antsy Defecation League (thanks Birdman) cannot abide the truth because they do the work of criminal Judaism. I would expect nothing less from the agents of the Zionist monster. Enjoy this talk.

I must say I was quite amused to see the Anti-Defamation League of B’nai B’rith’s take on this gathering, this meeting which discusses both the role of Israel in determining America’s foreign policy and the role of what I have coined as “Big Jewry” in influencing both the United States and the rest of the world. The ADL, without hesitation and without qualification describes the No More Wars For Israel Conference as an “Anti-Semitic conference organized by Mark Glenn of the Crescent and Cross Web site.” [1]

Letter from David Duke to a Questioner of Diversity

A student at the University of Maryland wrote an interesting opinion piece in the campus newspaper, The Diamondback. He said that when he read his own words about “diversity,” that he couldn’t help but “feel like David Duke.” There are a lot of folks who have good questions about the new enforced “diversity” in America. Of course, the diversity promoted by the media is not really diversity at all, because when White people have diverse opinions and conduct from the those dictated to us by the media, we come under attack. Here are some of the student’s words:

Diversity makes me a more rounded person, a more enlightened person, a better person. My same-seeking social inclination must be a character defect.

Or is it? What about cultural heritage? The Jewish Student Union, Black Student Union, Vietnamese Student Union, Asian American Student Union, Latino Student Union and American Indian Student Union are all legitimate and lauded student organizations. No one thinks that any of these groups are bigoted or ignorant. Then again, no one thinks that these organizations are diverse either. Should I take pride in my heritage? Am I closing myself off to the greater human race by embracing my culture and those who share it?

The Open Secret About the Israel Lobby

There is an open secret in Washington. I learned it well during my 22-year tenure as a member of the U.S. House of Representatives. All members swear to serve the interests of the United States, but there is an unwritten and overwhelming exception: The interests of one small foreign country almost always trump U.S. interests. That nation of course is Israel.

Both ends of Pennsylvania Avenue give priority to Israel over America. Those on Capitol Hill are pre-primed to roar approval for Israeli actions whether right or wrong, instead of at least fussing first and then caving. The White House sometimes puts up a modest and ineffective show of resistance before it follows Israel’s lead.

In 2002, President Bush publicly ordered Israeli prime minister Ariel Sharon to end a bloody, destructive rampage through the Palestinian West Bank. He wilted just as publicly when he received curt word from Sharon that Israeli troops would not withdraw and would continue their military operations. A few days later President Bush invited Sharon to the White House where he saluted him as a “man of peace.”

I had similar experiences in the House of Representatives. On several occasions, colleagues told me privately that they admired what I was trying to do in Middle East policy reform but could not risk pro-Israel protest back home by supporting my positions.

I was lobbied by the ‘Israel Lobby’

AN IMPASSIONED DEBATE over the tight alliance between America and Israel is roiling political circles, sparked by a new book that accuses a powerful “Israel lobby” of distorting American policy and endangering our national security. Building on an article they published last year, John J. Mearsheimer at the University of Chicago and Stephen M. Walt at the John F. Kennedy School of Government at Harvard argue in “The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy” that Israel exerts far more influence than it should on American politics.

They paint a picture of a potent coalition of neoconservatives, Christian fundamentalists, Jewish organizations, and, most strikingly, a richly coffered and extremely influential lobbying group, the American Israel Public Affairs Committee (AIPAC), which courts both Democrats and Republicans in order to promote Israel. The authors’ claims have been attacked by a broad base of critics, seized upon by anti-Semites, and applauded by some who believe this discussion is long overdue.

The Israel Lobby and the Psychology of Influence

Elaine McArdle was lobbied by the Israel Lobby. Of course, this is not exactly unusual, nor is it illegal. Indeed, it is standard practice among lobbyists of all kinds. As she notes, AIPAC provided first-class, all-expenses-paid trips to Israel for 40 US congressmen just last summer. Journalists are eager to participate as well, although it appears that this is viewed as less than ethical by at least some mainstream news organizations.

Still, there are probably very few congressmen of any longevity who haven’t participated, and, as she notes, most journalists have only one question about whether to participate: “Where do I sign up?” Free trips to Israel for US military personnel and politicians are also a standard policy of the Jewish Institute for National Security Affairs. And Birthright Israel annually organizes trips to Israel for 20,000 young Jews in an effort to deepen their Jewish commitment. (more…)

“No More Wars For Israel” Conference A Success

Although the Zionist swarm tried to shut down the conference, their efforts were foiled

In spite of efforts to close down the “No Wars For Israel Conference” by its political foes, known as Zionists and NeoCons, the conference did take place, but at a different venue than had been planned. Apparently the usual overreaching multitude of Zionist extremists posing as police and advised the hotel, and other hotels in the area, that there was going to be a conference there labelling us with the usual names they smear anyone with who challenge Zionism (you ought to know about that by now). The Marriott Hotel out of fear decided to present the organizers with a $20,000 deposit request in case of “trouble”. Since the organizers could not immediately come up with that sum, they were forced to find another venue, which is what happened.
