‘Special Relationship’ Alert - U.S. Taxpayers Paid Reparations To USS Liberty Surviors

Letter to the Editor
Keene Sentinel
Keene, New Hampshire

Editor:

I recently received the Liberty News, published by the USS Liberty Veterans Association, featuring the 1989 months long exchanges in your paper relating to the Israeli attack on the USS Liberty. At this late date, I’d like to throw in my two cents on a topic brought up by two letters critical of the Sentinel and not answered by your supporters.

The two letters stated that Israel had paid “reparations” to the wounded and next-of-kin of those killed and to the U.S. for the damage to Liberty. I take exception to that. I will explain that Israel didnt pay one thin dime.

U.S. TAXPAYERS PAID ALL THAT WAS PAID!

An arrangement was agreed to by Israel only after U.S. aid to Israel was increased from $13 million in Fiscal Year 1967 to a whopping $76.8 million in Fiscal Year 1968. That aid increase took care of negotiations for the crew, dead and wounded. These payments were made with U.S. Government checks in late Spring, 1968.

Israel then refused to pay for the LIBERTY damage. The United States government then increased the aid to Israel to $121.7 million for FY 1969. The new negotiations began and Israel agreed to pay $7.6 million damages for the $40 million ship which was sold for less than $200,000.00 as scrap. But Israel DID NOT PAY as promised when U.S. aid was cut to $71 million for FY 1970, even though that was still five times the U.S. aid of 1967. And the bill remained unpaid (and not deducted from the increased U.S. aid).

With the election of Ronald Reagan in November of 1980, Israel was unsure of how good a friend to Israel Reagan would be. A bird in the hand, so to speak and Israel initiated new USS LIBERTY damage negotiations with old friend Jimmy Carter. In December, 1980 the state Department announced that Israel had agreed to pay a total of $6 million for the LIBERTY in three payments over the next three years. A State Department official was quoted (as saying), “The book is closed on the USS LIBERTY.” That was 10-1/2 years after Israel had agreed to pay $7.6 million. No interest was to be paid by Israel. Even this last agreement was not kept per the agreement. It was reported in 1988, five years after Carter’s agreement should have been paid off, that Israel had finally paid the last installment.

Between the attack by Israel on the LIBERTY in 1967 and the last payment, some $45 billion is U.S. (U.S. taxpayer money) has been given to Israel by bought U.S. politicians. Any payments were deducted from ever increasing U.S. aid to Israel.

But that is not the end of the story. (more…)

Holocaust Industry Laying the Foundation to Bilk Americans Out of Billions

Video (left): Rep. Wexler’s statement on the Holocaust Insurance Accountability Act

Holocaust™ Reparations Bill In Congress Could Cost Americans BILLIONS

By Greg Bacon

The Holocaust Insurance Accountability Act of 2007 is now snaking its way thru committees, in preparation for what is to quite possibly be a huge extortion of money from the American tax payer.

Copied from the bill is this:

Experts estimate that the value in 2006 of unpaid life, annuity, endowment, and dowry insurance theft from European Jewry from the Holocaust and its aftermath ranges between $17,000,000,000 and $200,000,000,000.

(Dowry Insurance? WTF? We’re supposed to pay off for a wedding ceremony that never took place?

What’s next, puppy dog life insurance policies that weren’t collected when “Spot” died?)

Who in the hell are these experts? They’re not named, so we’re supposed to take at face value an utterance from a Congress that will drop everything in a sec to service their Zionist masters in Israel, but could care less whether or not We the People sink or swim… literally.

This act will give Holocaust™ survivors, heirs, dependents, and others, access to U.S. courts for the purpose of entertaining legal actions against insurance companies, even when those claims have already been denied by European Courts. And let them pursue legal action and seek redress–MONEY–against insurance or RELATED companies and seek damages. (Related Companies? Is no one safe from the latest Holocaust™ money extortion scheme?)

And the amounts are to be TRIPLED and include interest.

How sweet it is.

If the insurance company does not pony up information and money, they are subject to losing their business license.

So, when this strong-arming of insurance and RELATED companies goes into effect, who do you think will actually wind up paying for this scheme?

The insurance companies? Initially, but in turn, they’ll increase our rates to make up for the loss of income.

People Magazine: Tim Russert and David Duke, the distortions continue

russertduke2.jpgTim Russert and David Duke: the Distortions Continue

Tim Russert’s passing has most national media singing his praises by pointing out his over-the-top,  ineffective attack on David Duke on Meet the Press in 1991. Here is another example from People magazine. It claimed that Russert stumped Duke on his question of naming the three companies with the highest number of employees in Louisiana.  In fact, the question of naming the largest employers of any state is a trivia question that hardly gets to the important issues of a candidate’s positions or policies. In fact, there are dozens of businesses in every state that employ thousands of people. Anyone can name large employers in a state, but hardly anyone would be able to name the top three. How many people could name even the three largest employers in the United States? It is doubtful that the chairman of the Federal Reserve or the Treasury Department could, and certainly not without time for some thought on the issue, time that they wouldn’t have in a rapid fire interview. Whether a company is in the top three of employee numbers or the top six or the top ten is irrelevant to the issues of taxation and other government policy.

It  is quite revealing when the media sites Russert’s supposed stumping David Duke with a single irrelevant question as his most important claim to fame! The media is right. Coming out ahead of Duke, even on a single point of argument, is a rare and major achievement. Ask the likes of Wolf Blitzer, Barbara Walters, Tom Brokaw, Phil Donahue, Bill O’Reilly and Hannity and Colmes how they fared against David Duke. (more…)

barak-obama-pursueng-his-fathers-dreams.jpgBarak Obama - Pursuing His Father’s Dreams

By Thomas Robb

There has been much hoopla about the presidential hopeful and presumptive Democratic presidential candidate regarding the change he will bring to the nation if elected this November. In fact his whole campaign has been built upon the slogan, Change we can believe in!

But what exactly will be this change that seems to have the nation falling at his feet as if he is the coming messiah.

In his published book, Dreams From My Father, Obama clearly states that he wishes to fulfill his fathers dreams. But few people are aware of what those dreams were and the political consequences upon this nation if those dreams are realized.

The senior Obama, who died in an automobile accident in 1982 at the age of 46 was a dead-beat dad. At 18 he married his first wife Kezia in a tribal ceremony in Kenya. Five years later he abandoned his pregnant wife and her infant son and enrolled at the University of Hawaii where he met and married Ann Dunham of Wichita, Kansas and fathered Barak junior. He again abandoned his wife and young Barak at only 2-years old when he was granted an opportunity to attend Harvard. While at Harvard he met and married Ruth Nidesand. After finishing at Harvard he returned to Kenya. Ruth Nidesand followed him to Kenya, but he had already grown tired of her and they were soon divorced. The photo is Barak Obama at 10 years old with the one and only time he saw his father.

Barak, who idolizes his father fails to mention that the senior Obama was a committed Marxist and worked to bring about change that communist can believe in.

In 1965 (July) the senior Barak wrote an article for The East African Journal, titled ‘Problems Facing Our Socialism’. (more…)

Tim Russert and how the media repeatedly lies to you (about me)

russertduke.jpgThe death of Tim Russert and how the media repeatedly lies to you (about me)

By David Duke

I am reluctant to comment on the latest media attack on me because I have no joy in learning about Tim Russert’s death. I am not anxious in any way to put him down. We had a rivalry, yes, but I always considered him gentlemanly and I am sad to hear of his death. However, it does get very tiresome for the national media to relentlessly lie about me in both big and little things. At some point I must respond. The latest little lie is the suggestion by a Washington Post writer that Tim Russert crushed me in interviews. Howard Kurtz, one of the many Jewish extremists in media, in TV Commentator had a gift for asking tough questions, June 14, 2008 wrote that,

“Meet the Press” was languishing in the ratings when Russert took it over in 1991, and he first gained national attention by stumping David Duke, a Louisiana gubernatorial candidate…

In truth, many in media felt that I did quite well in that interview. Even more interesting, many in the media acknowledged that in my last appearance on Meet the Press I gave Russert the most devastating defeat of his broadcast career. It was such a powerful win for me that it became a model for public figures to learn from on how to handle a Russert interview. Click To Watch VideoVideo (left): Citizens send 248,000+ petitions to Capitol Hill demanding action on Secure Fence Act

Where’s the Fence?

From Steve Elliot

Yesterday afternoon on Capitol Hill, I had the honor of presenting nearly 250,000 citizen petitions to Rep. Walter Jones (R-NC) who co-sponsored a vital piece of legislation demanding lawmakers make good on their promise to the American people by building the double layered fence.

Every member of Congress at that event praised Grassfire for the work we are doing, and those we spoke to after the event privately told us the key to this entire debate is the grassroots!

That’s right, if this fence is to be built as promised, it is going to take a full-scale grassroots uprising against the status-quo of Washington, D.C.

Click here and listen to our exclusive audio/video update–including my comments from the press event yesterday.

I’m ready to take this debate to an entirely new level–one that won’t end until the fence is built as promised!

We will be releasing our battle-plan in the days ahead. … But until then, I need you to do something for me.

Please share this important message with 25-30 friends and family. Urge them to sign our national petition by clicking here.

We need a grassroots revolution, and it MUST start with you. Please help me reach thousands more citizens with this message and help me touch off a spark that ignites the nation to demand the fence be built as promised!

The Office of Global Anti-Semitism’s new requirement for philo-Semitic correctness:

Tags: Rev. Ted Pike, Christmas, ADL, Christian, Jewish Supremacism, anti-Christian US Government Condemns ‘Unintentional’ Anti-Semitism

By Rev. Ted Pike

Are you an unintentional anti-Semite? The US State Department’s “Office of Global Anti-Semitism” warns not just of conscious, intentional anti-Semitism but of another lurking form of potential bigotry: unintentional anti-Semitism. (See, Contemporary Global Anti-Semitism: A Report Provided to the United States Congress, page 4)

According to our government, this consists of criticisms of Israel which, though true, might be manipulated by others to Israel ’s detriment. To avoid assisting Israel ’s enemies, the state department recommends that every comment about Israel (including its leaders and military) first be scrutinized for whether it could put Israel in a bad light. If so, it shouldn’t be said. Only then can we consider ourselves both consciously and unconsciously free from anti-Semitism.

What if you defy the government and go ahead and speak truthful criticisms of Israel, knowing that Israel’s detractors will probably use it against her? According the Office of Global Anti-Semitism, one who assists anti-semites is an anti-semite.

The state department needn’t lecture evangelical Christians against possibly assisting Israel ’s enemies. At least a century ago, evangelical leaders anticipated the state department’s warning. Today, evangelicals reflexively honor the code that, no matter how true an unflattering fact or opinion about Jews may be, it will not be repeated. As a result of a century of self-censorship, tens of millions of evangelicals live in a virtual iron curtain of exclusion of truth about Jews, Judaism and Israel . Taught to see, hear, and speak no evil of Israel , they subsist on a religious and political diet of Zionist-approved pablum. The magnitude of truth that has never been allowed to reach them is encyclopedic.

Are Evangelicals Anti-Semitic?

Evangelicals think that, by only speaking well of Jews, they are beyond the reproach of ever being labeled anti-Semitic. Wrong. The state department says that if Christians believe the New Testament account that Jewish leaders had Christ crucified they are the very worst kind of anti-Semites: “classical” anti-Semites. That’s what Hitler was (See, Contemporary Global Anti-Semitism: A Report Provided to the United States Congress, page 5).

Former CIA officer Philip Giraldi reports on Israeli spying & espionage against USA

Pay no mind to the Mossad agent on the line.

By Philip Giraldi

After Israeli spy Jonathan Pollard was sentenced to life in prison in 1986, the U.S. negotiated an understanding with Israel—a “gentlemen’s agreement” —stipulating that neither nation would thenceforth conduct espionage operations in the other’s territory without consent. But the agreement was a sham from the beginning. The Israeli government didn’t even honor its commitments in the aftermath of the Pollard case, failing to return the estimated 360 cubic feet of stolen information to enable the U.S. to conduct a damage assessment. The United States, for its part, continued to recruit and run agents inside Israel throughout the 1980s and 1990s. And it was known within the intelligence and counterintelligence communities that Israel did the same in the United States. David Szady, the FBI’s assistant director for counterintelligence, was so dismayed by the level of Israeli spying in the late ’90s that he called in the head of the Israeli Embassy’s Central Institute for Intelligence and Special Activities (Mossad) office and told him, “Knock it off.”

Pollard’s name was in the news again on April 22, when former U.S. Army weapons engineer Ben-Ami Kadish was arrested for passing secrets to Israel. Kadish had been an agent run by Yosef Yagur, who directed Pollard. Yagur, under cover as a science attaché at the Israeli Consulate General in New York, fled the U.S. in 1985 after Pollard was arrested, but remained in touch with Kadish.

The arrest revived suspicions that Israeli agents might still be operating inside the U.S., most particularly “Mega,” whose cover name was revealed in an NSA-intercepted conversation between two Israeli intelligence officers. “Mega” was clearly at the policymaker level, as Kadish and Pollard frequently sought files by name or number. Someone more senior in Washington appeared to be directing the Israeli handlers toward sensitive information. Whoever “Mega” was, he is still at large.

Californians to drink recycled sewer water as immigration pushes carrying capacity

Understanding Carry Capacity Or Drink Toilet Water

By Frosty Wooldridge

As gasoline continues rising toward its inevitable $5.00 and even $6.00 a gallon by October, and California’s drought worsens with strict water rationing becoming law—Americans, FINALLY, begin to understand their limits to growth and consumption!

In the movie “Dirty Harry”, Clint Eastwood said, “A man’s got to know his limitations…did he fire six shots or only five…well punk, which is it…do you know your limitations?”

While I hammer away at the immigration crisis facing America year after year, our Congress pours more human gasoline on the fire of our consequences by adding 182,000 immigrants every 30 days, month in and month out, year in and year out. Today, those consequences grow gargantuan beyond solving.

As you read in my last column, California faces a horrific human flood of 1,600 people added daily to that state. They cannot solve anything while everything goes to hell in a hand basket!

Rancher Gaylan Stewart of Spanish Fork, Utah wrote a letter on ‘carrying capacity’:

“I grew up on a ranch and so I know full well what you mean when you speak of “carrying capacity,” Stewart said. “If we over-grazed, we paid for it later, but this didn’t stop some of our neighbors. In fact, after they had overgrazed, they allowed their animals to push our fences until they were down and then their animals would move in and graze our pastures as well. Is there an analogy here? We put them back in and fix the fence, but before long grazed in our pastures again. So, instead of putting them back we started putting the “strays” out on the railroad tracks and roadways where they were scattered far and wide. Of course this angered the neighbor, but he got the message.

“As for California, they need to drink their own toilet water until they get the message. I live in Utah and we have always had a water shortage. Droughts come and go and some are real disasters, but if you have not been pushing the “carrying capacity” it is easier to survive. California and the rest of the Southwest have increased the population beyond the water capacity, and we are only one severe drought away from disaster, where we all may be drinking our own toilet water.”

Gentle reader, as you can see, we’re piling up irreversible consequences with unsolvable problems. Yet, not one presidential candidate addresses it and you, the American public, remain silent as a church mouse. Who will speak out if not you?(…Full Article)

Capt. Ward Boston: “They lie about everything. You can’t believe a word they say”

capt-ward-boston-with-victims-of-the-israeli-attack-being-taken-ashore.jpg Insider Tells the Truth About the Cover-up of the Attack on the USS Liberty

By Mark GlennAFP

‘Son, I spent 2 years as a special agent in the FBI and over 30 yrs in the military, and if it is one thing I learned through all of this, it’s that when you get an order, you say ‘yes sir’ and carry it out with no questions asked’.

This was the response given by Capt. Ward Boston, USN (Ret) to this reporter in a series of recent interviews he gave for American Free Press Newspaper. For those not familiar with Capt. Ward Boston, he played what will one day be recognized as one of the most pivotal roles in recent human history. 40 years ago this upcoming June, he was the senior legal council for the Naval Board of Inquiry concerning the June 8, 1967 attack on the USS Liberty by Israeli Air and Naval forces that resulted in 34 Americans killed and 171 wounded. His job in 1967 was to be part of a hastily-called investigation into the attack, and–as he has recently revealed to the shock of many–to rule that Israel’s 90-minute bloodfest waged against America’s young men was all an ‘accident’ that occurred during ‘the fog of war’, all the evidence to the contrary be damned. In 2002, Capt. Ward broke his silence of 3 decades and released an affidavit to the public in which he admitted that the entire investigation was a sham, and that he was under orders (from persons of no less authority than President Lyndon Johnson and Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara) to rule that the bloodiest day in American naval history since WWII took place as a result of ‘mistaken identity’ and that America’s ally, Israel–was innocent of any wrongdoing.

For 35 years Capt. Ward lived with the bitter knowledge that his fellow servicemen had been deliberately murdered in what was an act of war by a foreign power and yet because of the orders he received was powerless to say anything. A conflux of events however led him to make the decision to ‘damn the torpedoes’ and to let the chips fall where they may. ‘I’m an old man’ he told AFP. ‘They can’t threaten my job, and if they throw me into jail, so what? The truth has to be told for the benefit of the survivors and for the American people whose sons and daughters are dying today’. (more…)

Dr. Kevin MacDonald Praises & Criticizes Walt and Mearsheimer’s Work

A Case Study in Jewish Influence

The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy
John J. Mearsheimer and Stephen M. Walt
New York: Farrar, Straus and Giroux, 2007

Reviewed by Kevin MacDonald

The Israel Lobby and U.S. Foreign Policy is a courageous, ground breaking effort. The authors are experts in the field of foreign policy, and they provide exhaustive detail on a wide range of topics. Because of my interest in Jewish issues generally, I was reasonably familiar with many of the issues discussed. But I learned a great deal from this book. And even when the themes were familiar, they were backed up with an extraordinary depth of relevant information.

Each chapter is a treasure trove of information. The first chapter, on the United States as the “Great Benefactor” of Israel, shows that Israel is in a class by itself in terms of receiving aid, not only in how much it receives but in how it receives it and in the lack of accountability for how it is spent. For example, Israel is the only country to receive all of its aid at the beginning of the fiscal year, so that it is able to earn extra interest ($660 million as of 2004) even as the U.S. government must pay interest on the money it provides Israel ($50 million–$60 million per year). Lax enforcement of U.S. tax law results in Jewish donations to the settler movement being tax deductible, and, since there is no accountability for how U.S. aid is spent, it can be used to support policies like the settler movement that the government officially opposes. Mearsheimer and Walt emphasize the “increasingly unconditional nature” of U.S. military aid (p. 37) despite the fact that Israel has often taken actions that the U.S. government opposes (refusing to sign the nuclear non-proliferation treaty, annexing conquered land, building settlements in conquered territories, selling U.S. technology to China, spying on the United States, and using U.S. weapons like cluster bombs in ways that violate U.S. law). Since Eisenhower, the United States has used only larger carrots, not sticks, to try to influence Israeli behavior, often with little or nothing to show for it. Even when Israeli actions contravene explicit American policies, there is at best a temporary interruption of U.S. aid.

The second chapter shows that Israel has been a far less reliable ally and strategic asset than its defenders claim. During the Cold War—the supposed height of a confluence of interest between the United States and Israel, “although Israeli military might did help check Soviet client states like Egypt, Syria, and Iraq, America’s commitment to Israel played a significant role in pushing those states into Moscow’s arms in the first place” (p. 52). Moreover, Israel was never a credible force that could be used to thwart Soviet military power in the region. Even during the Cold War, U.S. support for Israel had its liabilities: fanning anti-U.S. sentiment throughout the Arab world, endangering U.S. energy supplies (e.g., the Arab oil embargo following the 1973 war), and preventing possible solutions to the Israeli–Arab conflict because of its entanglement in Cold War politics.

An Update from Political Prisoner, Ernst Zundel

To my Zundelsite Readers -

Here is a slightly edited update about Ernst’s legal situation in Mannheim, written to a German couple in Canada, who kindly sent me a typed copy for our archives.

I should also add that as of June 2, 2008, we have filed extensive papers in the federal court in Knoxville asserting our right to continue litigating Ernst’s case in the United States that will focus heavily on his political kidnapping aspects - a focus that has been denied us so far.

I am excited about this new front because we are in possession of some pretty devastating documents obtained through various Freedom of Information Acts in three countries that show a web of political coordination - and shenanigans in this international manhunt for one pacifist activist that staggers the imagination!

My readers and, hopefully, the media will hear about that in a few weeks!

National Democratic Party Racks Up Impressive Gains In German Elections!

udo-voigt-npd-flags-1.jpgNPD Finds Ballot Box Success In Saxony

From Spiegel Online

Germany’s right-wing National Democratic Party of Germany (NPD) has long found some measure of success in the voting booths of eastern Germany. In Sunday municipal elections in the state of Saxony, the run of success continued.

With the state’s 2.9 million voters choosing new county and municipal councils, the NPD pulled in some 5.1 percent of the vote across the state and looked set for representation in every county council in the state. In two counties, the NPD even came in ahead of the Social Democrats. In terms of total votes, the NPD managed to quadruple its total from 2004, moving from 41,000 votes to 160,000.

Despite the advances made by the NPD, however, the conservative Christian Democrats emerged as the victors of the weekend election, winning 39.5 percent of the vote. The Left Party, successors to the post-Communist PDS, managed 18.7 percent while support for the Social Democrats, came in at just 11.5 percent.

The vote marked the first time the NPD put up candidates in every county in the state. But the party has long been making inroads into the political establishment in Saxony. The NPD won 9.2 percent of the vote in 2004 state parliament elections and the party has eight seats in the state parliament in Dresden, just behind the 13 held by the Social Democrats. Opinion polls routinely show that support for the NPD is approaching double digits in Saxony. Far right parties also have seats in the parliaments of Brandenburg and in Mecklenburg-Western Pomerania, both in eastern Germany.

In one small town called Reinhardtsdorf-Schöna, long known as a bastion of far-right sentiment, the NPD got 25.2 percent of the vote.
