An article in USA Today reports: “A Mississippi county school board announced Wednesday it would cancel its upcoming prom after a gay student petitioned to bring a same-sex date to the event. Due to the distractions to the educational process caused by recent events, the Itawamba County School District has decided to not host a prom at Itawamba Agricultural High School this year, school board members said in a statement. Constance McMillen, an 18-year-old senior at Itawamba, recently challenged a school policy prohibiting her from bringing her girlfriend as her date to the April 2 prom. McMillen, who is a lesbian, and the Mississippi chapter of the American Civil Liberties Union urged school officials to reverse the policy both on McMillen’s choice of date and attire. She also wanted to wear a tuxedo to the dance.”

Homosexuality was considered a mental illness up until 1973. The decision to change this classification was strongly influenced by political pressure from a growing number of homosexuals in society and by Jews in the psychiatric profession and the heavily Jewish ACLU. One article notes “The American Psychiatric Association removed homosexuality from its diagnostic list of mental disorders in 1973, despite substantial protest (see Socarides, 1995). The A.P.A. was strongly motivated by the desire to reduce the effects of social oppression. However, one effect of the A.P.A.’s action was to add psychiatric authority to gay activists’ insistence that homosexuals as a group are as healthy as heterosexuals. This has discouraged publication of research that suggests there may, in fact, be psychiatric problems associated with homosexuality…. not until 1992 was homosexuality dropped from the psychiatric manual used by other nations–the International Classification of Diseases (King and Bartlett, 1999)–so it appears the rest of the world doubted the APA 1973 decision for nearly two decades.” Or maybe it took two more decades of lobbying and pressure to corrupt the psychiatric profession outside the United States. New Derek Black Show on AM Radio!

We’ve finalized arrangements for Stormfront’s Renaissance Man, Derek Black (Theodoric) to broadcast a twice weekly program on our local West Palm Beach radio station WPBR 1340AM. The programs can also be heard through the station’s audio/video webstream.

Derek became a local celebrity after media coverage of his election to the Republican Executive Committee, with REC chairman Sid Dinerstein then decreeing elections don’t count and voters don’t matter, if he and his fellow commissars don’t like the result. We have since prepared a lawsuit, which his attorney expects to win.

Derek formerly hosted four one-hour weekly shows on Stormfront Radio, so he has experience. This is a broadcast news/talk radio station, however, with a significant local audience.

Derek’s working hard to make the first show memorable, with several prominent guests. He will also be accepting call-ins from listeners at (561) 533-6134. The programs will air live each Tuesday and Thursday, 9:00 to 11:00 AM ET. A live audio/video stream is available through the station’s website along with an audio only stream. Imagine the reaction for a moment if Iranian academics said Iran should acquire nuclear weapons for nuclear blackmail or even nuclear destruction of the world if Iran went down. , The controlled media has been silent about these incredible evil pronouncement, and nations such as Germany continue to give Israel submarines that can carry nuclear warheads; submarines that the Zionist State could use for nuclear blackmail and ultimately a nuclear holocaust. USA Today reports: “Residents eager to get their state tax refunds may have a long wait this year: The recession has tied up cash and caused officials in half a dozen states to consider freezing refunds, in one case for as long as five months. States from New York to Hawaii that have been hard-hit by the economic downturn say they have either delayed refunds or are considering doing so because of budget shortfalls. New York, hit with a $9 billion deficit, may delay $500 million in refunds to keep the state from running out of cash, says Gov. David Paterson. Hawaii’s Department of Taxation says some residents may not see state income tax refunds until the end of August… Officials in the following states say they have had to delay issuing refunds or consider doing so because the state might not have the cash on hand to cover the checks: Hawaii, Alabama, North Carolina, Kansas, Idaho, New York.” (more…)

Post Office Cuts Staff Despite Promises to Create Jobs

Some people may have noticed that mailboxes, which had been in their neighborhoods literally for decades have recently disappeared. Well, it turns out that any mailbox that gets less than 25 pieces of mail per week is in danger of being uprooted.

It’s true people under age 70 overwhelmingly use e-mail for everything, and that people are likely paying their bills online or by some automatic deductions. This means a big drop in mail, but it seems silly to take away mailboxes. Why not just collect mail from them less often? This move seems to be a largely symbolic act by the Feds. Our government isn’t able to repaint a white line on a road without spending thousand of dollars. I would not be surprised one bit if it cost thousands of dollars in labor and bureaucracy to remove each mailbox. (more…)
