Democrats Will Suffer a Record Defeat this November

Bad economy, squandering of billions, Gulf Oil Spill and Amnesty all hang over Democrats’ heads

by Jeff Davis

An article on Politico.com reports “Top Democrats are growing markedly more pessimistic about holding the House, privately conceding that the summertime economic and political recovery they were banking on will not likely materialize by Election Day. In conversations with more than two dozen party insiders, most of whom requested anonymity to speak candidly about the state of play, Democrats in and out of Washington say they are increasingly alarmed about the economic and polling data they have seen in recent weeks.”

The truth is that Democrats have made things worse. Bush dropped a subprime mortgage crisis in Obama’s lap. Obama responded by squandering $787 billion on his “Stimulus Plan” which appears to have done nothing to create jobs. One million foreclosures are forecast for 2010. An average of three banks are failing every week. The real unemployment rate is about 20 percent and the admitted unemployment has reached 9.6 percent. California, Illinois and New York are on the verge of bankruptcy.

Politico.com goes on: “They no longer believe the jobs and housing markets will recover – or that anything resembling the White House’s promise of a ‘recovery summer’ is under way. They are even more concerned by indications that House Democrats once considered safe – such as Rep. Betty Sutton, who occupies an Ohio seat that President Barack Obama won with 57 percent of the vote in 2008 – are in real trouble. In two close races, endangered Democrats are even running ads touting how they oppose their leadership. Democrats also hoped to leverage a decisive fund-raising edge to bail out members over the final two months of the campaign. But, while they have raised way more money than Republicans, Democrats head into the final stretch worried that when spending by outside groups is factored in, they will have little or no advantage in spending over the next two months.”

The Republicans will likely steamroll the Democrats because of the economy alone. Add to that Obama’s Katrina (the BP oil spill, caused in large part by a lack of competent oversight by the EPA and the utter helplessness of the Obama regime as the oil spill got worse) and Obama’s lawsuits against the Arizona immigration law and even against Sheriff Joe Arpaio himself.

The article notes “Several House Democratic sources said they are furious with the White House for keeping the debate over a New York mosque in play for two weeks – and then announcing Obama will use a prime-time address next week to discuss Iraq, not the economy. By the calculations of House Democrats, this means that by Labor Day they will have spent nearly nine weeks this summer beating back negative or unhelpful story lines instigated, in part or in total, by the White House. Finally, Democrats had hoped memories of unpopular Republican rule under George W. Bush would convince swing voters against installing a Republican House again.”

Most White people had houses and jobs when Bush was president, and that’s all they will remember. In contrast, our first African president has been associated with belt-tightening and worse times for almost everyone. And things will get worse when the Bush tax cuts expire. And don’t forget the Obamacare mandate. In the middle of a Depression, Obama wants to force millions of Americans to pay $1000 per month for health insurance, which many don’t need.

One significant difference this election is that the Tea Party has started to do what White people should have done decades ago. They’ve driven out or defeated liberal Republicans like Arlen Specter and Bob Bennett –getting rid of them in the primary. Rand Paul won the GOP primary in Kentucky and a Tea Party candidate will be running against Senator Harry Reid and stands a good chance of defeating him. The Jews and big corporations had to shell out $21 million to help the rotting corpse of John McCain survive a primary challenge.

What I look forward to most will be the Republicans getting subpoena power along with a majority in Congress. Then they can start investigating the Obama regime with Congressional hearings and special prosecutors like they did with Bill and Hillary Clinton. Now, that will be more fun than a barrel of monkeys!
